A New Direction

Excited to be integrating past years of looking, learning, discussing, experimenting, and hard work. This painting is a leap for me and I intend to keep moving. It's about color interaction, amplified I think by lively brushwork and an ambiguous picture plane. It's my first completed work since my mom died a month ago.

The subject matter comes from observation but is painted from my heart. Plenty, oil on canvas, 20" X 16."
