I love every mark that can be made with paint: line, drips, impasto, layers, and gauzy washes. I work from life, sketches, photos and memory, always trying to balance intention with surprise.

A lifelong commitment to finding my painting voice keeps me at the easel every day, sometimes with assurance and other times, practically on my knees. I can't imagine more satisfying work.
